Privacy Policy

• Account information: your email address, a display name, and a securely hashed password — we never see or store your password in plain text. If you sign up or sign in using Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from that provider instead.
• Contest data: the picks you submit for each bowl game and the CFP Playoff bracket, and any pick you submit on behalf of a dependent you manage.
• Usage data:basic information about which features get used, tied to your identity once you're logged in. We do not record or replay your screen.
• Activity records: certain sensitive actions — like a score correction or an account change — are recorded internally so we can account for what happened and when.

• To run the contest: recording your picks, scoring them against results, and building the standings.
• To send contest-related email: account confirmation, password reset, and (if enabled) a reminder before a game locks. You can turn reminder emails off any time in Settings.
• To keep the activity records described above.
• To understand, in aggregate, which features are actually used, so we can improve the app.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a small preference cookie for light/dark theme, and an analytics identifier. None of these are used to track you across other websites.

We rely on a small number of service providers — hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, and basic analytics — to run the app, each with access to only what they need to do their job. We also read public game schedules and scores from a sports data provider; we never send your personal information to it. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, that provider shares your name and email with us to create your account.

This app is used by a private family group, and some participants are minors. A minor doesn't register or provide information directly — a parent or guardian creates and manages a linked account on their behalf and enters their picks for them.

We keep your account and pick history for as long as your account is active, and we keep completed seasons as a permanent contest record. Backups are retained on a rolling schedule for disaster recovery.

• Access to your data is limited to you, and to whoever manages your account if it's a dependent account.
• All traffic to the app is encrypted in transit.
• Backups are encrypted at rest.

• Update your display name or email address any time in Settings.
• Turn pick-deadline reminder emails on or off in Settings.
• To request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data, contact whoever manages your contest.

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Significant changes will be communicated directly to contestants.
